The Road Never Travelled

in the night i saw a happy moon
i was hoping to reach my home soon

the road i was was traveled less
thought of me to take my chances at best

i went in dark woods to see
all i could hear was voice of me

walking away i reached a hut
saw a light but the doors were shut

the wind blew from under me like water blue
i didn't felt strange as I had no clue

the lady from behind the wall
she was standing so beautiful and tall

she invited me in to have some food
i wanted to reach home and i told i was good

she made me have a supper of soup
and in a jiffy i saw her entire group

they held me tight on a bed with ropes
suddenly i realized i had no hopes

i cried i screamed i told of a promise to keep
she smiled and laughed and told have your last sleep

i pulled my hand in so much anger
the bed had broken and it seemed stranger

I ran back to the woods with all following me
I just ran and prayed hoping they never gaze at me

i reached the road where i had been lost
and when i turn around i see holocaust

i thanked to god he made me breathe alive
now I can go back to my lovely mother's hive
she saw me in a sweat and mess
she smiled and said god gave you a bless
