The Lost Boy

a boy was lost, a boy so young
running in the wild, with panting lung

searching for a way, to reach home
to escape the scary jungle's dome

he reached the village and fell into a well
the darkest night and nothing to ring the bell

scared alone he was in the dark moon
he knew he would loose it all so soon

he prayed and kept his thoughts on fire
to reach his home was his great desire

he knew not how to climb and reach the top
but  there was nothing that could make him stop

he climbed the wet walls in the greatest fear
with hands trembling and eyes filled with tear

he went half way through and gravity pulled him down
he went in deep water and felt he was gonna drown

he came back up again with a fight
in the hope to see some light

he climbed again with a broken hand
he just wanted to reach the land

he knew the strength would not suffice
but he had to try even with fear in his eyes

he failed once but he climbed again
with each step he endured utter pain

the only thing that he had cared
losing to anything, this thought was barred

he smiled again and started to rise
with one hope that his strength might suffice

with so much to gain he reached the land
he knew now that this ain't my end

the night was at its darkest cruel
the boy went head on to it on a duel

never back down spirit made him win
the battle so scary for the boy might have seen

he knew one thing that made him fight
after the darkest hour comes the sun light

he rushed to his home in such a strength
he had passed all odds that were long in length

he hugged his mom and slept in her lap
that closed the adventure and filled the gap
